Brilliant writeup Mahima. This needs to be widely read - for it expresses the other side so vividly.

Beautifully written Mahima. Your style is easy to read and laced with humour. But there is so much truth in there that it is not funny or cute!

I don’t know where I would be placed on a scale of patriarchy, but I am sure that I have a lot to learn. And with every article I read and every conversation I have, I hope I learn that bit more.

Loved every bit of it! Witty and true to the core! I wish older women reading this are sensitized enough by this post to take care of newer generation...

Awesome piece, Mahima! It's bitter sweet to know that there are others going through the same experiences as me.

We go about our lives ignoring naysayers, 'sympathisers and well-wishers', but sometimes the loneliness just hits us. Your piece is a balm to that malady... Please keep writing.

Cheers for the holiday season ☺️

Another one I can relate to very well. The fact that even if your parents are ok with you being single..these distant relatives continue to cause trouble!!

Thanks for putting all these struggles we women experience on paper!
