Hello ji,
Welcome to the first edition of Womaning Shorts!
As I mentioned in the masterplanof Womaning 2.0, this is a format where I share some of the stories Womaning readers shared with me on various platforms. These are stories which deserve a larger audience in my opinion, and so the Womaning Shorts will feature such stories for all readers to access.
Last week, I wrote a post titled “He Who Must Not Be Named”, which included stories of women who had been denied the basic human right to call their partners by their names.

Many of you reached out to me to express concern and support for the troll attack on last week’s post. It is never a joyous experience to be attacked. But as kids these days say, haters gonna hate.
That said, to balance out the negativity you see in the comments section of the last post, I want to also share the amount of love I got for the same post…
This mirrors the love I get from you for pretty much every Womaning post every week. I am a lucky writer indeed.
And, it so happens that this was also the week that Womaning crossed the milestone of 2000 subscribers.
